Lamazuna: A French Brand with a Georgian Name!

Lamazuna (meaning pretty young woman in Georgian) is taking on the sustainable and ethical beauty products industry one product at a time!

Lamazuna was started in 2010 when founder Laetitia decided it was time to stop using disposable cotton pads and seek a reusable, more sustainable alternative. Today, Lamazuna has over 50 employees working together to offer innovative products that are safe for our health and the environment, but don’t break the bank!

Ethical and ecological values are at the forefront of this brand, with all products being 100% naturally derived with organic ingredients and 100% vegan. Lamazuna is committed to providing high-quality, zero-waste, vegan products using locally farmed ingredients.

With a diploma in communication, Laëtitia always had the idea to create her own company. After starting Lamazuna in 2010, she has been working on several projects that involve sustainability and ethics in cosmetics and fashion. In 2018 she founded KABANES, an ethical fashion e-commerce which merged with Lamazuna in 2019 to form Lamazuna Fashion.

She is now the administrator at Réseau Vrac, an interprofessional association that has the goal to structure and accelerate the development of bulk sales around the world. Laëtitia is also on the supervisory board of La Nef, an ethical bank which provides savings and credit solutions geared exclusively towards projects of ecological and social cultural utility.
